Sunday Football

It is Sunday and in my house that means that we are ready to watch our favorite NFL teams. This week the buzz includes 9 year old Sam "Sweet Feet" Gordon. Sam's highlight reel of her time on a local peewee football has gone viral - but not because she is a girl. She is getting a ton of attention because of how good she is. The article from ABC points out that her favorite sport is soccer though I have heard some discussing a future in the NFL if she continued to excel in football. Kudos to her parents for encouraging their daughter and not getting trapped in gender stereotypes.
