Bias in the Classroom

Steve Bowler shared the photo to the left of his 8 year old daughter's schoolwork on his twitter feed earlier today with the following message "Proud my 8yo girl failed this worksheet. Wish she had failed it even "worse." #GenderBias". It is disturbing that such overt gender bias is present in the classroom. How many parents saw nothing wrong with this exercise? According to his response, the father has a conference scheduled with the school.
