DARIA

Growing up I LOVED watching this cartoon. Daria was not the prettiest/most popular girl in her high school; however, she was perfectly okay with that. Unlike her sister who desperately had to fit in Daria embraced her identity and stood her ground. She was a great fictional role model to look at because she taught me that being yourself is more important than having a bunch of friends. It seemed like the characters that were the most popular had the most problems!
