All body types are AWESOME!

Each of these women are highly talented Olympic Athletes. This picture is so powerful, because it shows young girls of all shapes and sizes that their bodies are both beautiful and capable. By seeing this photo, a young girl's body image and self esteem could improve greatly. Unfortunately this is not a typical image found in the too easily accessible media. More often than not “feelings of happiness and pride in one’s own body are taken away through a quick magazine flip or negative comment” (Lipkin).
