Volunteer/SL opportunity

The Zebra Coalition is going to start a hotline for GLBTQ youth in the Central Florida area. They would like it to be run 24/7 and are looking for volunteers who can donatate just an hour a week to the cause. I belive you will even be able to answer calls from your cell phone!!!

There is a mandatory training session on Sept 25 from 9am-3pm at the Center for Drug Free Living.

Awaiting the hand of someone who’s strong and tall.   “A lady only speaks when spoken to.”   Words that have worn her ears before she could lace her own shoes.    “ Don’t eat so much, a lady must always watch her figure.”      The maiden’s first trigger.    You see, she’s been trained and groomed to fit the needs of men.   Before she could even reach the age of ten.    Men are blessed with strength and glor y when they'r e born.    Women? My name is Marci and this is my last semester here at UCF. I am an Interdisciplinary Studies Major and minor in Political Science. I love people! I love to help people and feel like I am making a difference. I hope to continue my education and get a M.A. in International Relations, and make the world a better place. I truly believe that you must be the change you wish to see in the world! I have previously taken two Women’s Studies courses: Introduction to Women’s Studies and Third Wave Feminism. Both of these courses opened my eyes to a world unknown and have given me strength I did not even realize I possessed.
